Start the month off right by coming to one or both of the shows we'll be in this weekend! The first is the Desert Guild Quilt Show with the theme being Sunshine, Shadows, and Stars (what a wonderful title!) It's Friday and Saturday from 10-4pm at the Palm Springs Pavilion. Admission is $7, but there's free parking! There will be over 150 quilts featured at this show, opportunity quilts, mini quilts, Merchant Mall, Harpist, and a Boutique and ASQ certified appraiser! There won't be space for driving strollers around, so please do not bring them either day.
Our second show is Saturday and Sunday at the Friendship Square Quilt Show at the La Habra Community Center Admission is $6, and there's free parking at this one too! Come as early as you want and stay as long as you want but please, only bring your stroller on Sunday. There will be both an opportunity quilt and Merchant Mall at this show also, a large quilt display, a silent auction, boutique, and quilt sale! The opportunity quilt, "Floral Fantasy" 2010, is a Baltimore Album style which is hand appliqued and hand quilted. The drawing will be held Sunday, March 7, at 3:30pm, so make sure to be there!
You can never go to too many shows so come say hello at both!

yay for shows!! next time i'll be in cali probably won't be till the long beach show in july... but i'll find you guys!!
