QUILT OF THE MONTH

PICK UP STARTS TOMORROW & it's a DEMO DAY!

We are doing a Saturday "Fresh Picked" Quilt of the Month spectacular event.  Sign up for only $20 initial fee, and each month you receive:

free "quick & easy" pattern

+  another 30% off coupon for fabric for that month's quilt  +

an additional coupon for 30% off edge to edge long arm quilting services!

The following month, if you bring your finished quilt top, 

you will receive another 

(You will have 1 week each month to pick up the pattern

 and use your coupon.)

To help you with your monthly quilt, an instructor will give a

demonstration/class on the 2nd Saturday each month starting at 10am.

You are welcome to stay and sew afterwards and into the night...

If you don't get your top done 1 month,  no worries! You can still pick up your freepattern & get a "fresh" start on the program!

Both programs start in February.

Tuesday is Embroidery Day!

We have 2 embroidery classes Tuesday: 10:30am - 3pm & 6-9pm!  Do you have a red-work, black-work, or embroidery pattern you’ve been dying to try, but just don’t know where to begin? It'd be a GREAT Valentine's Day gift!  Drop in any time, and let Sammie guide you through the stitches while you chat and laugh!  It's $10/session, and you don't have to worry about a reservation!  Come on in!

Here are some ideas of what you could do!

Valentine's Day bag from The Mother Huddle (there's even a tutorial on how to make the bag after you've embroidered it!)


You could embroider something on a scarf (this is actually needle felting, but you could embroider it!) via Design Sponge


Or if you don't want to do Valentine's Day stuff, you could make Felt Sand Dollars from Happy Together!


Or a pacifier clip from Ruffles & Stuff!

Each month pick up a pattern and wool kit--including wool and background fabric. Kits may be picked up any time during the month.

3 Day Shop Hop Countdown!

3 Days until the Orange County Holiday Shop Hop! The trucks unloaded... The goodies are getting back of the shelves... Ric rac is getting put away and we are getting ready for the Holiday Shop Hop Friday, Nov 19th Saturday, November 20th & Sunday, November 21st! Stop by and see all that we brought back from quilt market and quilt festival! All you need to do to participate is to pick up a passport at the 1st shop you visit! To qualify for the Grand prize of 40 yards of fabric or a gift basket valued at $100 from one of the 8 "Santa's Holiday Hop" participating Quilt Shops, you MUST visit ALL 8 participating Quilt Shops & get your passport stamped at every shop.  Even if you do not complete the entire Hop you are still eligible to win one of the 8 gift certificates valued at $25 each from one of the 8 participating Shops you visit during the Hop.  ALSO, at each of the 8 Hop Shops will receive a free pattern, fat quarter, and return coupon.  For kids 8 - 16 years of age, we have a special passport for them too.  If they complete the entire Hop they will be eligible to win a tower of 40 fat quarters.  We even have a special gift for kids 7 & under! + We will be having a sample sale during the shop hop.  We are selling off some of our shop samples and the samples the have been featured on the cover of our Threaded Pear Patterns. Due Date

The movie with our quilt in it is now in theaters!  Gina went & saw it and took a picture from the 2nd row!  Someone said you can see the quilt in a trailer, and also a movie clip from the Today Show, but we haven't been able to track it down.  Email us or post the link in a comment on our blog or Facebook page to tell us where it is if you find it online!
